Experience
- Currently, since 2007 : Researcher in the Planning, Optimization, and
Modelling team, at the DSNA/DTI R&D (Direction des Services de la Navigation Aérienne, domaine Recherche et Développement de la Direction de la Technique et de l'Innovation).
The POM team was created following a reorganization of the french Air Navigation Services and of the Global Optimization Laboratory (LOG CENA/ENAC).
- 2000 :
Ph.D. student, and then research assistant at the Global Optimization Laboratory ( LOG ), which was at the time jointly supported by CENA (Centre d'études de la navigation aérienne) and ENAC.
- 1996 :
Deputy chief of the division "Computer-assisted control tools" at the French Civil Aviation Technical Service (STNA, now merged within DSNA/DTI), mainly in charge of the tools developped by the French partners (STNA, SOFREAVIA et Airsys) within the European project CINCAT, and also of the Radar Processing System used in the five French air traffic control centres and Paris airports (ADP).
- 1991 : At Brest Air Traffic Control Centre:
engineer in the ATC design and the ATC operations subdivisions.
Working experience of en-route air traffic control: I followed the "ab-initio controller" training, with a full summer in the control room (thanks to team 4).
- 1990 : Military service, as a volunteer for technical assistance, at the Cayenne-Rochambeau airport in French Guyana.
- 1989 :
Training period of five months at the MITRE Corporation, on the site of the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Technical Center in Atlantic City.
