The LOTA regroups the ENAC members of the ex-LOG (Global Optimisation Lab) now splitted as the POM in the R&D department of DTI/DSNA at the DGAC (french FAA).
The aim of the LOTA, in strong collaboration with the POM is to apply combinatorial optimization techniques to Air Traffic Management (ATM). Constraint Programming is one of the main tool which has been used so far to handle different problems like departure slot allocation, ATC sectors openings, flight level allocations or a priori deconfliction.
